Do any of the hiking or winter boots have slip resistant out soles?

I've repeatedly seen seen a commercial where Xero claims that their shoes are uncomfortable and that the Xero spokesman never wears comfortable shoes. What?!?

Why would she wear shoes that are advertised as being uncomfortable shoes?

I'm looking forward to trying some of these out. For me the slightly thicker sole should help with the accidental heel strike on a sharper rock, as well as better ground heat protection while backpacking miles away from civilization. After my share of heel bruises and seeking shade over the years, I have learned to choose protection over comfort at times. And these puppies just might be the ticket for that perfect middle ground! Thanks Zero Shoes!! Stay stoked!

A question for anyone who has purchased these boots. How would they function as a light-weight work boot in a shop setting? I'm a mechanic and want some good-looking, lightweight, and durable boots. They have to be fairly slip resistant, though.

what do they look like now after a year? my hesitation is if they get dirty real quick.

What Xero says about walking barefoot equals to a 8 week feet strengthening programme is no BS. I tried pogo hops after wearing barefoot sandals for 2 weeks plus. My stamina increased significantly and my legs don’t get sore fast, it was sore but comfortable amount.

Hello Xero Shoes, I recently bought the Prio and like them very much, but I have a small issue. I would like to be able to spread my toes even more! Can you make a shoe that is like the Prio but with a larger toe box? I would definitely buy those. :)

my gym is going to the park and tyring to kick the shell off of the ball (soccer+nrl ball). Are there any barefoot/wide-toe ones that can tolerate that kind of constant impact? I'm too old to want to squish my toes in a sport specific cleat and even with a solid feeling wide flat shoe the glue eventually fails (and when regluing the she usually end up with lumps underfoot), a couple of times they just completely fall apart at the seams. How thick are the soles on the Breckenridge boots? I liked when you guys included that info on your website for all your shoes. I’d like to get these for my wife but she needs them to be thick enough for protection from hazards at work.

As someone who is a 4E, with almost all of the width in my forefoot not my toe splay, I second the idea of a wide model. My 360s already fit me like a 2E would, which is an improvement over some other barefoot shoes but a few extra mm would mean a lot! Having a high arch and instep doesn't help, though the volume on the 360s is pretty good to begin with. It can be tough finding shoes when you are in a fringe category. So many companies want to increase just the size of the toe box but if you can't fit your foot in the shoe, that doesn't do any good. I will say that with extra thin liner socks and no insole the 360 is close to being perfect but I wish I didn't have to make that compromise. As an aside, I am totally one of the people you mention in the video that has bought shoes that are too long (because they weren't offered in wider widths) to get that extra width. Thanks for the updates!

Why did I think you didn’t use animal skins? My mistake I guess. That’s a shame. Love some of the designs but priorities are in the wrong spots it seems. Slicing up another animal to wear on another animals feet is insanity. Sorry I’ll let myself out and shop elsewhere. Hopefully the company can evolve and I can revisit later.

I live in Colorado and I just bought a pair of your shoes, I’m excited to use them. I was ran over last year while cycling to work last July, just over a year ago. I had broken legs, ribs, face, and emergency lung and liver surgery with my spleen removed… I’m doing much better now though. At first I wanted squishy shoes because my bones and muscles were still healing, it was painful to walk on anything but carpeted floors. Now, I walk up to 14 miles a day… where my femur was broken aches if I stand on that leg for too long or walk for long periods of time. I have a high pain threshold, but that doesn’t make it ok. I started to think maybe now, the squishy shoes have been compromising my alignment. When I’m at home, I’m barefoot, and I train barefoot: weights, calisthenics, yoga for several hours every day. So I have strong feet and ankles. That’s why I want to give your shoes a try, they could be the next good step in my healing process. So thank you for creating them, I’ll reach back out to let you know if they’ve helped or not. ❤

Are you guys going to make wide toe boxes again? Outside of my original prios havent found wide toe box. The 36o was hardly wider than a normal tennis shoe

I see that the stack height is 6mm plus 3.5mm insole. Is that 6mm all the outsole or is there some sort of thin midsole? I like my Prios, for reference, so just checking that these are similar. Thanks in advance.
